Elizabeth has recently passed her Landscape Institute Chartership exam. This effectively completes her professional studies, some thirty years after they started... She maintains that this is perfectly reasonable and not a case of slacking at all, given some minor interruptions along the way, such as raising a family. I would have to agree (I always have to agree). So she is now Elizabeth Blackledge BA(Hons) DipLA CMLI, which, if you count the brackets around Hons, is an annoying six letters longer than my collection. She has now changed her email signature to 'Chartered Landscape Architect' and is, quite naturally, very pleased.
