Work has begun on an NHS clinic in Hull which features building design by Gelder and Kitchen Architects and landscape design by 2B. The Unit will allow residential and day-care treatment of patients with a range of learning disabilities, through stages ranging from the most disturbed, to those being integrated into their local community.

The architecture and landscapes harmonise to provide an attractive and secure setting for the treatment of the patients. The site design features a sustainable drainage (SuDs) scheme, to handle rainfall on site without compromising ‘downstream’ property.
