We have implemented an excellent little blogging system, called SimpleBlog.  This allows us to quickly create new blog entries and categorise them so that they fit into our News, Landscape or Technical blogs. 

 

The developer, Stoian, was very helpful in modifying the script to provide the functions we required, for a very reasonable fee, as well as responding promptly to technical questions and requests. Here is a screenshot from the Add New Post page:




SimpleBlog is highly recommend if you want to add a dynamic blog system to a static HTML website, without embarking on a major update to a Content Management System (CMS). Check out SimpleBlog :-)
